ACB shows the way after being given free hand

Jaipur: After being given a free hand, by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, to take action against corruption, the Rajasthan ACB team has been taking swift action against corruption in the state since the past 9 months.

Whether it is a senior officer of Narcotics or Joint Secretary of Mines Department, Rajasthan ACB has taken action on every complaint of bribery.

The result of this move of the Gehlot government is that now any victim arrives fearlessly with his complaint against corruption in ACB headquarters. Under the leadership of, DG Dr Alok Tripathi, ADG Saurabh Srivastava and IG Dinesh MN, Rajasthan ACB is continuously running a campaign against corruption and taking action against the big names as well. The zero tolerance policy is being adopted against corruption in the state, whether it is an officer having the blessings of any minister or MLA or a private broker. It is noteworthy that Additional Commissioner of Central Narcotics Bureau, Kota, Sahiram Meena was arrested taking a bribe of Rs1 lakh on January 26 this year.

At the same time, Superintendent of Narcotics Department Sudhir Yadav and Sub Inspector Bhanu Pratap Singh of Central Narcotics Bureau Chittorgarh were also caught taking bribe for a case related to opium. Rajasthan ACB also took CBI Inspector Prakash Chandra and private broker on the radar in bribery case. In this case, the broker was arrested and inspector went missing, but CBI suspended the inspector.

Recently, ACB had caught Begu SHO Virender Singh while giving a bribe of Rs11 lakh. ACB had also taken action in Department of Mines a few days ago and trapped Joint Secretary BD Kumawat and two of his brokers. Recently, ACB trapped a councillor in ward 39 of JMC Suman Gurjar, while taking bribe of Rs1.25 lakh.

Whether it is a case of bribery of Sahiram in Kota, or ACP Aas Mohammed in Jaipur, the corrupt are fearing the ACB.
