After late monsoon withdrawal there is a nip in the air in Raj

Jaipur: With the end of the rainy season, winter is gradually catching up in the state. People in rural areas of Shekhawati region have also started using light warm clothes at night. Sikar district recorded a minimum temperature of 15 degrees C on Wednesday night.

According to the MeT Department, there has been a decrease in the minimum temperature of 2 to 5 degrees C in many places in the state in the last few days. The lowest temperature at Mount Abu was recorded at 12 degree Celsius, while Bhilwara recorded the highest temperature at 27.3 degree Celsius. However, its adverse effects are seen in the day. Till a few days ago, the temperature in the day was between 28 to 32 degrees C, has increased since the weather is clear and sunshine blooms. The highest temperature of the day was 37 degrees C in Barmer. The temperature in other cities was between 32 to 35 degrees C on average.

Monsoon withdraws from more than half parts of state

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon has withdrawn from more than half the districts of the state. The monsoon withdrawal was announced from Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Bikaner, Jaisalmer and Jhunjhunun (7 districts) of northern Rajasthan on Wednesday. At the same time, the department has also announced monsoon departure from Jodhpur, Nagaur, Sikar, Alwar, Dausa, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Dhaulpur, Barmer, Jalore, Pali, Ajmer, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur and Karauli.
