BCCI removes existence of ‘Team Rajasthan’ from RCA

BCCI hands over administrative power to RCA in a meeting.

Jaipur: Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) president Vaibhav Gehlot met the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly on Saturday to discuss various issues that RCA was facing from a very long time. BCCI has officially removed ‘Team Rajasthan’ from its chapter. The BCCI handed the administrative power to the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) during its Apex Council meeting in Mumbai. A source privy to the development said that after the BCCI’s Apex Council’s decision, RCA will function like any other state cricket association in the country.

Since BCCI president Ganguly has an event to attend in the city, the meeting will resume again later in the day with Home Minister Amit Shah, Jay Shah (son), Vaibhav Gehlot along with RCA and BCCI officials will be present in this meeting.
