Jaipur: Discussion on business action reforms in which ‘ease of doing’ business and ways of simplifying the process were discussed during an important meeting of Industrial Department which was chaired by Chief Secretary DB Gupta on Monday.
In the meet that was held at the Secretariat, proposals of giving concessions on electricity and various other surcharges and the need for special customised packages according to the industry, which helps attract investment were also thought over.
Similarly, in other key meetings, giving relief to small and medium industries (MSME) units through amendments were also discussed. Moreover, the identification of lands and the creation of a land-bank for industries and several other issues were discussed during the meeting. Lastly, it was instructed to remove roadblocks in land allocation cases.
