Gandhinagar: The State Government is expected to present 11 legislative bills during a three-day session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, which begins on Monday.
State Assembly Speaker Rajendra Trivedi, being the head of the working committee of the House, has on Saturday convened a meeting of the members to discuss the work schedule of the session. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, Legislative and Parliament Affairs Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and Leader of the Opposition Paresh Dhanani will be present in the meeting.
The last session of the assembly was held in July to pass the State Budget since a Vote on Account was presented earlier in February in view of the Lok Sabha elections.
