The MICA community celebrated MICA Day on Wednesday to mark the 29th anniversary of the institute’s foundation by AG Krishnamurthy.
With the theme of “Back To School”, this year’s edition of the annual staple gave everyone the chance to escape from their grown-up lives and take a trip back in time to their childhoods.
The day began with a cake-cutting ceremony which was followed by a lineup of orchestra, musical and dance performances along with a yoga performance. The highlight of the day was the portrayal of solidarity and unity in diversity that MICA today stands for, which was showcased by a well-coordinated piece on ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’ choreographed and executed by faculty members and employees of the administration department.
The day also witnessed a felicitation ceremony for long-serving staff. MICA’s President and Director, Dr Shailendra Raj Mehta commemorated the years of service of MICA’s employees with a token of appreciation.
