Education Minister of Rajasthan Govind Singh Dotasra inaugurated ‘[email protected]’ computer lab at Poddar Senior Secondary Government School on Tuesday morning.
Virtual education plays a very important role for the youth in today’s time, and to take this ahead, a new computer lab, ‘[email protected]’ was inaugurated at Poddar Senior Secondary Government School on Tuesday morning. To make this day special, the lab was inaugurated by the Education Minister of Rajasthan, Govind Singh Dotasra, with the principal, teachers, and students of the school present there. This initiative has been taken by Kamla Poddar and ‘V Can Give Them Hope’ NGO, which is handled by nine ladies- Dr Rekha Singh, Isha Swarup, Dr Apoorva Krishnakant, Neeru Jain, Rachna Garg, Sundra Bais, Sunita Jain, Shibani Mishra, and Neha Giri, who are wives of serving and retired IAS and IPS officers, with the main objective of helping the underprivileged.
They have also started focussing on the education and health of children, and believe that there is no greater joy than ‘giving’.
During the inaugural ceremony, Govind Singh Dotasara praised the work of the NGO and Kamla Poddar, and also promised all support for the school. He also shared his background of a teacher’s family, with the students present during the ceremony. During the program, MLA Baljeet Yadav motivated the children to stand up for what is right and question themselves. He believes that every day they should ask what did they do to make their parents and their nation proud, which would eventually lead them to a better future.
Kamla Poddar thanked the NGO for the chance to help others and promised that they can continue to count on her for future endeavours too. Talking about the objective of the program, Isha Swarup said, “The objective of this trust is to return back to the society- whatever we have got as respect, fame, and status from the society itself. We are tirelessly working with underprivileged children in the domain of their education and health for a better future.” Explaining further about this initiative, Rachna Garg, who has earlier done exemplary work for the families of police personnel when Kapil Garg was DGP Rajasthan, mentioned, “This NGO gives them a chance to give back to society and stay connected with the reality of life. We are committed and would keep on helping the underprivileged step by step.”
