Jaipur: Under the National Food Security Scheme, the responsibilities of officials have been fixed for holding special camps that will be organised in city from October 16. Names of eligible persons of 32 categories will be added to the food security list during these camps.
Along with this, proper arrangements are being made for cleanliness, shade, water, meeting arrangements, information banners and indicators at the campsite for the public.
These camps will be set up by the district administration in association with the Jaipur Municipal Corporation.
District Collector Jagroop Singh Yadav informed that in these camps, to be held in eight zones of JMC, from October 16-23 (except Sundays), Sub-Divisional Officer (SDM) Jaipur I & II, North and South have been appointed as supervisory officers. Camp responsibility for the JMC’s Hawa Mahal (East) and West Zone has been given to the SDM Jaipur (I). Along with SDM Jaipur (II) will be responsible to organise camps in Sanganer and Mansarovar Zones, SDM Jaipur (North) for Vidyadhar Nagar Zone and SDM Jaipur (South) for Moti Dungri and Civil Lines zones.
These camps will be held from 10 am to 5 pm and applications for adding the names of the persons included in the 32 categories to National Food Security Scheme will be filled here, said Yadav. ADM (North) Kanishka Saini informed that camps of the Civil Line Zone, Moti Dungri Zone, Hawa Mahal East and West Zone and Vidyadhar Nagar Zone will be set up in the zonal office premises from 10 am to 5 pm.
