Justice Mohd Rafiq to be sworn in as CJ Meghalaya HC today

Jaipur: The newly appointed Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court, Justice Mohammad Rafiq, reached Shillong on Tuesday. The swearing-in ceremony of Justice Rafiq will be held in Raj Bhawan at 11 am today. Governor Tathagata Roy will administer the oath to Justice Rafiq.

On the arrival, Justice Rafiq received a grand welcome by the High Court administration and district administration. Also, the guard of honor was given to him by Meghalaya Police personnel in Nongpdeng.

Along with Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, many ministers of the state will also attend the ceremony.

Attendees: The program will also be attended by many people, including Justice SP Sharma of the Rajasthan High Court, Senior Advocate BS Sinsinwar, ADJ Hemant and High Court Employees Union President Rituraj Sharma.
