Jaipur: Massive crowd was seen at the public hearing programme at the PCC on Monday.
However, pain of transfers echoed at the hearing process headed by the Women Child Development Minister Mamta Bhupesh.
The highlight of the ‘mantri darbar’ was the flocking of students from a government school in Chaksu, 50 kilometres away, demanding cancellation of transfer orders of their principal.
The students held placards in their hands while they demonstrated in front of the minister. During the protest, a student’s health deteriorated and she was immediately referred to hospital.
Amid tight police security, a memorandum was submitted to the Bhupesh. The minister assured complete help.
Besides, many other complainants also put forward their pleas in front of the minister. She lauded the decision of the Congress government to contest direct elections for the Mayor and Chairmen at the upcoming local body elections.
