Renowned Rajasthani writer Anand Kaur Vyas shared her literary journey with literature lovers of city in ‘Aakhar’ series. The talk-show was moderated by renowned Rajasthani author Monika Gour.
Sharing about her childhood days and her literature journey, Bikaner born writer Anand Kaur Vyas shared that she had an inclination towards literature from the beginning of her childhood days. It was a primary school in her village where teacher used to encourage all the students by reciting poems and stories.
Kaur had initially written stories on childhood literature like Mother Teresa, Bachendri Pal etc. She started writing in Rajasthani literature in the year 1995. When asked about her literature being dominated mostly by the rebellious characters, she said, “Literature is a mirror of the society. We are always surrounded by a new story every day and no such story can be left untouched in this age.”
