Mahendra Shandilya elected as Rajasthan HC Bar Association President

Jaipur: Advocate Mahendra Shandilya has been elected as the 37th President of Rajasthan High Court Bar Association. He defeated his nearest rival Rishipal Agarwal by 528 votes.

Anshuman Saxena has been elected as general secretary, Sarika Choudhary and Shashank Agarwal for the post of Vice President, Mansingh Meena as Joint secretary and Saurabh Dube have been elected on the post of treasurer.  8 members have also been declared for the executive. 

The bar association elections were held under one bar one vote on the order of the Rajasthan High Court. On the post of general secretary, Anshuman Saxena received 1000 votes and his rival Giriraj Prasad Sharma got 785 votes.

President Shandilya and General secretary Anshuman said that they will work for the betterment of advocates in the high court.

For the post of joint secretary, Mansingh Meena got 867 votes while for treasurer post Saurabh Dube got 1806 votes. For the post of social secretary, Sushma Pareek got 1004 votes while for the post of library secretary Neeraj Mishra got 1349 votes.

Hitesh Bagdi had already been declared winner unanimously for the post of joint library secretary.
