PCC chief writes to MPs on PM’s Gram Yojana

Jaipur: Deputy Chief Minister and PCC President Sachin Pilot has written a letter to all parliamentarian of the state regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Adarsh Gram Yojana. Pilot wrote that for the development of rural Rajasthan, all the MPs should adopt the villages of their Lok Sabha constituency as soon as possible so that the public can benefit from it.

“The Congress government does not discriminate against anyone,” said PCC chief.

Pilot has recently written a letter to all MPs of the state requesting them to adopt the villages soon. “I have written a letter to all the MPs that they should adopt the village in their respective areas, which shows that the Congress government does not discriminate against anyone. The scheme should be started by anyone it should be started during anyone’s tenure, if it is of public interest then we should work on it,” said Pilot while talking to the media on Friday.

“In view of this, I have written a letter to all MPs. I hope that soon the MPs will adopt villages under the Adarsh Gram Yojana so that centralised development can take place in the villages,” he said.

“During previous government of Vasundhara Raje, all schemes of Congress were discontinued. When we come to power, there is no discrimination. We have not stopped any schemes, but are operating them in a better way,” said Pilot.

During first term of Modi government, the Prime Minister started Adarsh Gram Yojana. Under this scheme, MPs had to adopt a village in their Lok Sabha constituency.
