Jaipur: Some good news for foodies Jaipur is on the cards. The city will soon have its own food destination.
Jaipur Chaupaty at Sector 23, Haldi Ghati Marg, Pratap Nagar is going to be developed as a food hub. Housing Board has already released the work order and UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal will inaugurate the proposed project on Wednesday.
The development of Jaipur Chaupaty will not only be a blessing for Pratap Nagar but also for Jagatpura. Both localities are spread over a wide area but do not offer too many good dining options. Besides, the residents of the nearby areas of Bilwa and Vatika too are likely to be drawn to the proposed Chaupaty. Pratap Nagar is considered as the hub of the Housing Board and the project will give a different identity to the area.
Sprawled over 3,800 square metres, Chaupaty will have all the basic necessities for tourists such as seating arrangement, pure drinking water, LED, toilet and parking space among others. The target set for the construction of Jaipur Chaupaty is mine months.
Housing Board Commissioner Pawan Arora took stock of the inauguration arrangements at the location today. Interacting with the officials concerned, he garnered details of the whole project.
The Chaupaty is being developed to cater to the whole city and tourists and not just nearby areas. People from across the city would reach there to taste a wide range of food under one roof. It is would be constructed at a budget of Rs 5 crore and have 30 shops.
