Mumbai (Maharashtra): As it has always been said, Shah Rukh Khan is not an Indian celebrity but a global star! The actor is known worldwide and has millions of fans across the globe. After a four-year hiatus from films and event appearances, the actor has been busy this year with shoots and well, event appearances. He recently was at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Dubai where he was bestowed with Honorary Yusr. The festival was attended by some of the most renowned artists from the entertainment world, including Hollywood actor Sharon Stone, British Director Guy Ritchie, filmmaker Oliver Stone, AR Rahman, Priyanka Chopra and many others.

While SRK had a grand entry at the opening ceremony and even gave a speech where he talked about his upcoming films, it was someone else who caught everyone’s eye. Sharon Stone is a well-renowned name in Hollywood. But there are times when even the biggest names have their fan moment and Sharon had hers at the festival.

The Basic Instinct actor could clearly be seen gasping and mouthing “Oh My God!” when she realised Shah Rukh Khan was sitting right next to her. While addressing everyone present at the film festival, SRK said that if Stone let him sit beside her, he would look only at her for the rest of his life. This statement by him got an overwhelming gasp from the actress. The moment was caught on camera and shared by several fan pages of the Zero actor.

 

 

Workwise, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in YRF’s spy-thriller, Pathaan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Talking about the film at the Red Sea, the actor said, “I have never done an action film. I have done some really sweet love stories, some social dramas, and some bad guys but nobody was taking me for action. I am 57 years old so I thought, for the next 10 years I’m going to do action films.”

He further has Atlee’s Jawan with Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra. He will also be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s border crossing comical drama, Dunki with Taapsee Pannu. He stated that the journey was big for him and the film goes through different areas around the world to end up at home in India.
