Alia Bhatt, Serena Williams, Idris Elba, Julia Roberts, and others support Gucci's gender equality effort

For all the right reasons, Alia Bhatt has been making headlines recently. She just boosted her resume by becoming the first Indian Global Ambassador for Gucci. She made her début at the Met Gala in 2023 before the news broke. Later, Alia debuted at the Gucci Cruise 2024 runway presentation in Seoul. In the most recent Gucci video, Alia paired up with the greatest Hollywood stars. 

In support of the new campaign from the Italian luxury brand, the talented celebrities banded together. Alia tweeted the video and conveyed her enthusiasm for supporting the cause. The video opens with Salma Hayek, John Legend, Halle Bailey, and Julia Garner introducing themselves. Salma may be heard continuing, "I chime for gender equality." Alia, Serena Williams, and Julia Roberts then lend their support to the causes of liberty, education, fortitude, opportunity, and dignity. The video ends with Idris Elba saying, "We chime as one."

Alia shared the video and wrote, "Excited to be chiming in for Gucci Chime’s 10th Anniversary Campaign! Gucci chime for gender equality. Chime in." Alia with other celebrities thrilled fans. All of them have hearts. 

Alia has expressed her happiness in joining the Gucci family. She expressed her 'honoured' at being chosen to represent the company. She shared on her Instagram handle, "I’m honored to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but at a global stage. Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I’m looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together."

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia, is scheduled to hit theatres soon. On Karan Johar's birthday, the first look posters were recently published, and his followers were quite ecstatic. Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan all play significant parts in the movie. Alia has Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in addition to this. Alongside Gal Gadot, she will make her Hollywood debut this year in Heart of Stone.
