Selfie Trailer: Superstar vs Superfan film!

Finally here is the much-anticipated Selfiee trailer starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. Diana Penty and Nushratt Bharuccha are also featured in the comedy-drama. The movie, which was directed by Raj Mehta of Good Newz fame, will be released in theatres on February 24.

Khiladi Kumar's portrayal of superstar Vijay, who appears in the trailer, is introduced. He talks about his busy schedule, doing four films, of which two are for OTT, as he and his female co-star (Mrunal Thakur) undertake hazardous acts. Numerous advertising, live events, and reality shows are also included. Additionally, he discusses how much he enjoys driving, giving the impression that Akshay is speaking to the cameras about his life.

Then, a police officer named Om Prakash and his son, who are also Vijay's "superfans," are introduced to us. Their greatest fantasy is to take a selfie with their favourite celebrity. So, when the chance arises, he makes every effort to assist the man in obtaining a driver's licence. The two are devastated when the superstar mistreats the policeman in front of his son due to a misunderstanding.

The conflict that follows pits a superstar against a superfan, the latter of whom is trying to convince his son that he is the actual hero. The voyage includes some dramatic, heartbreaking, and comedic episodes in addition to some action-packed scenes. You may feel a little bit nostalgic while "Main Khiladi Tu Anari" plays in the background. 

The 2019 Malayalam comedy-drama Driving Licence was remade as Selfiee. Lal Jr. directed the original Malayalam film, which Sachy wrote the script for. A celebrity known for his driving prowess, loses his licence in the story's centre. But when he clashes with a vehicle inspector, who also happens to be an admirer of the actor, the situation spirals out of hand.
