Hansal Mehta hilariously wishes Roger Federer on his retirement with a picture of Arbaaz Khan

Mumbai (Maharashtra): The news of Roger Federer’s retirement from the Grand Slam and other big tournaments was a shock to the world. The legend that won 20 single Grand Slams, five times winner of the year-end No.1 and several other titles during his four-decade-long tennis career had many celebrities coming out to celebrate his legacy. Several Indian stars tweeted and posted their dismay while also hailing Federer for being the best throughout.

Recently, filmmaker Hansal Mehta sent his goodbyes to the star player with a hilarious twist. While Mehta expressed that he will miss him, he tweeted Arbaaz Khan’s photo instead of Roger Federer's! Yes, you read that right! The actor has often been called the doppelganger of the tennis player and Hansal Mehta’s tweet only made netizens wheeze. He wrote in the captions, "Going to miss you champion. #RogerFederer."

While one Twitter user wrote in the comments, “Best tweet on Federer’s retirement”, another tweeted, “Hahahahaha brilliant sir”. A follower even pulled Arbaaz’s leg as he wrote, “hopefully you won’t miss Federer’s acting.”

Arbaaz Khan has been called Roger Federer’s doppelganger many times and the actor had even addressed the claims once. Stating that he is aware of the similarities between their faces, Khan questioned whether the tennis player knew about it too. While claiming that he is a huge Roger Federer fan, the actor revealed that he would love to meet him one day.
