Power and Urban Development Minister launches SAMBHAV portal

Urban Development and Power Minister AK Sharma on Tuesday launched the SAMBHAV--(System Administrative Mechanism for Bringing Happiness and Value) Portal, where issues of the common man related to both Power and Urban Development ministries would be resolved. This portal has been launched with the intent to induce the spirit of transparency and answerability among the officials of the concerned department. 

The portal would assure the presence of Jan Sunwai related to the Power ministry on district, discomm, and state levels. The Executive Engineer would be listening to the issues of the public on the district level from 10 am to 12 noon on a daily basis. The Superintendent Engineer will be listening to the issues every Monday 3 pm to 5 pm. 

At the discomm level, the Managing Directors of the discomm will be interacting with the public from 10.00 am to 12 noon every Tuesday. 
Not only this, grievances at the state level will be heard on every third Wednesday of the month by the minister and the top officials from 12 noon onwards. 

Grievances related to the Urban Development department will also be forwarded by the portal to the officials and will be addressed through a planned mechanism. 

A Jan-Sunwai will be organised every Monday by the Executive Officer at the Municipal Corporation or Municipal Council or Nagar Panchayat level and will be scheduled from 10 am to 12 noon. Municipal Commissioner will be listening to the grievances at the Municipal Corporation level every Tuesday from 10.00 am onwards. The first Wednesday of every month will witness Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma taking the driver's seat and addressing the issues faced by the public from 12.00 noon onwards. 

The spirit and intent of the portal are to resolve all the issues then and there. A statement released by the Power and Urban Development Minister's office said that strict action will be taken if the issues are not resolved or are delayed without any reason.
