‘Students be proficient in all subjects to some extent’

Sikar: Governor Kalraj Mishra said that the New Education Policy has been prepared after a lot of thought in the interest of the students in such a way that it leads to all-round development of the students. He said that care has been taken in this that the student should be proficient in all the subjects to some extent.

Mishra was addressing the third convocation ceremony of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University in Sikar district on Friday. He said that the students should make proper use of their education for the upliftment of the society and the nation.

“Education is a cultural process through which work is done to make a civilized, cultured and capable citizen by developing the innate powers of man, increasing his knowledge and art-skills,” he said.

Vice Chancellor of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University Prof. Bhagirath Singh said that 17 such courses have been started in the university which are employment oriented.
