Janhvi Kapoor Teams Up With Varun Dhawan For Atlee's Theri Remake

Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are currently working in Nitesh Tiwari's Bawaal. The film is yet to release in theatres, but it seems the chemistry of the two stars has already prompted Atlee to sign them for Theri's remake.

Well for the unversed Theri is a 2016 Tamil action thriller which is inspired from Mani Ratnam's film Chatriyan. As per a news portal, "Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan will be seen together again in the remake of Theri, which is being produced by Atlee." However, it has been reported that the film is still in initial stages and only the leads have been locked in as of now. However, whether the film will be directed by Atlee, who directed the Tamil original, or not is still not confirmed.

The Hindi remake will stick to the original story with Varun, in all probability, taking up the role of Vijay from the original. It seems Janhvi and Varun's chemistry from the sets of Bawaal has convinced makers that they are perfect to recreate the magic of the Tamil film for the Hindi audience.
