Shah Rukh Khan promises to fulfill the last wish of 60-year-old cancer patient

Hindi film Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan has a significant fan following all over the world and is really the king of hearts. Notably, SRK, who is renowned for his modest and down to earth demeanour, goes above and above to show his fans how much he cares. And most recently, the actor granted the dying request of Shivani Chakraborty, a cancer sufferer who has been fighting the disease for years. She stated in an interview that her last dream was to see King Khan.

The moment the actor heard that Shivani wanted to see him, he immediately set up a video conference with her and spoke with the 60-year-old cancer patient for nearly 40 minutes. Shah Rukh vowed to support her financially and even stated that he would attend the wedding of her daughter. Not only that, but the Pathaan actor also committed to visiting her in Kolkata and sharing a supper of fish with her. A number of the actor's fan clubs posted screenshots of his video chat with Shivani and praised him. One netizens tweeted, “Remember Shivani that 60yrs Old Last Stage Cancer Patient from Kolkata Her Last Wish Was to Meet @iamsrk Sir? Her Wish Got Fulfilled Last Night, Today SRK Sir Called her Talked almost 30 Minutes, He is The Humblest Star on Earth for a Reason.” 

In an interview with Aaj Tak, the cancer patient said, “I am counting days as doctors have said I will not live long. There is one wish, call it my last wish. It is to meet Shahrukh Khan before I die. I want to see him in person.” Shivani also wants to cook a simple Bengali meal for the superstar. 

She added, “I will cook for him something that we eat at our home every day. He loves Bengal so he might enjoy the homely meal I hope to cook for him,” Shivani shared while wiping a picture of the actor with her saree’s anchal. I want to ask him to bless my daughter. I want to see him and understand how such a star is so grounded.”
