Kriti Sanon reveals being told, No one wants to marry an actress!

Kriti Sanon made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with Sabbir Khan's Heropanti. Since then, she has appeared in a number of films, including Mimi, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi, and most recently, Bhediya and Shehzada, demonstrating her versatility as an actor. Despite not coming from a film family, Kriti Sanon has acknowledged that the public has a poor opinion of the entertainment industry. She talked about the prejudices she faced when she was foraying into the film industry.

Recently when asked if people told her the film industry wasn’t for her when she was about to join. Kriti replied, “Of course bola hai. Not only because of where I come from. I don’t think that was always the thing. But ye duniya ka perception hi bohot alag tha. Alag as in, bohot positive perception nahi tha. Like glamorous hai, aachi duniya nahi hai, aache log nahi hai, actors banne ke baad shaadi nahi hoti hai.” 

She also mentioned that a few people in her age group told her that "no one wants to marry an actress," and while she laughed it off, she couldn't help but be surprised by the idea that someone in her generation could hold such an opinion.
