2 factions clash during Sarpanchs’ agitation, Ramesh Meena reacts

Jaipur: During th Sarpanch’s protest in city, a clash broke out between two factions of Sarpanch over the issue of the removal of Panchayati Raj Minister Ramesh Meena. The police had to use mild force to disperse the crowd. Later, a delegation of Sarpanchs met PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra regarding their demands but the meeting remained unfruitful. The protestors alleged their demands and previous agreements have not been met with for several years. Meanwhile, Panchayti Raj minister Ramesh Meena on Friday said that he would resign if allegations against him were found true in investigation. “I have never called sarpanch corrupt,” Meena added.
