Drugs worth Rs 1.5 crore seized in Chittorgarh, three accused held
Chittorgarh: The police have succeeded in confiscating a huge consignment of drugs in Nimbahera. The police seized MD (MA) and opium in large quantities, which were smuggled through luxury cars. The value of the seized drugs is around Rs 1.5 crore. MD (MA) is most popular and costly drug after cocaine. The police recovered 1700 grams of MD (MA) and 8900 grams of opium and arrested three smugglers on the spot. These opium and drugs were brought from MP and were being taken to Jodhpur. The arrested accused include Navdeep Pandit, Shyam Sundar Pandit and Vikram Singh. The team that took action included ASI Sunderpal, Constables Pramod Kumar Chaudhary, Naresh Kumar, Harvinder Singh, Sarjeet, Sunil Kumar and Jeevan. Nimbahera Sadar police station registered a case and started the investigation.
