Hope Union Minister cooperates with ACB in Phone Tapping: Joshi

Jaipur: On ACB notice to Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for his voice samples in phone tapping, PHED Minister & Chief Whip Dr Mahesh Joshi hoped that the minister will comply with norms. “I have come to know about this only from the media. Now the decision of what to do next on notice is to be taken by the Minister. Hopefully the Union Minister will cooperate in legal action & give his voice sample,” he said. “We don’t interfere in matter of law & police. It was our right to register FIR in ACB about the potential horse trading in RS polls. We were apprehensive that an environment of horse trading would be created. BJP has proved it in Maharashtra,” Joshi said.

Reacting to notice, BJP State President Satish Poonia said, “State Government is doing politics of vendetta & hatred. These people are hurt when they are out of power. If ED gave notice to Rahul Gandhi, they should have respected it. ED is a constitutional body, not created by BJP. Notice to Gajendra Singh is part of a threat.”
