In major development, JDA Director (Law) alleges Rs 472 crore scandal

Jaipur: There is a discussion of Rs 472 crore scandal in JDA. JDA Director (Law) Dinesh Gupta himself raised the issue and recommended to get the matter investigated by an independent investigation agency.

The case is of land situated between Tonk Road and JLN Marg in Jaipur near Gopalpura flyover and in Lalsingh Judo Colony.

Director (Law) in his legal opinion on the matter has said, “’For the missing file in the case, an FIR should be lodged with the police. The manner in which the procedure was followed for determining the land use in the case, raises many serious questions on the whole matter. This is a serious matter of misappropriation of government property.”

Notably, the Pushpa Jaipuria Foundation and Captain Meters Limited had applied for land use determination of 2.5 acres and 12 acres of land respectively. It includes 11500 square meters of government land.
