ACB raids Govt officers’ premises
Jaipur: The Rajasthan ACB conducted searches at more than 6 places across Jaipur on Tuesday. The search was conducted at the locations of Information Assistant Pratibha Kamal of DOIT (Department of Information Technology) and Deepak Gupta, AAO of Discom. During the search, Rs 22 lakh cash, 1 kg gold, 2 kg silver, 6 cars including BMW were found from Pratibha Kamal’s house. At the same time, gold watches and ornaments have been found from Deepak Gupta’s residence. Also, a mini home theater was built inside Deepak’s house. Actually, this search of ACB was done against government officials for disproportionate assets and misuse of position. ACB has raided two places of both the government officials in Jaipur. DG ACB BL Soni informed that in Jaipur itself, ACB has received Rs 14 lakh in cash from the premises of Deepak Gupta of Discom. Additionally, 1 kg gold, 32 kg silver, 3 star hotel partnership papers have also been found. Along with Deepak Gupta’s house, a luxury home theatre, an African gray parrot, chow-chow Chinese dog (one pair), 2 gold watches and other imported watches, mini gym, passport (for UAE visit with family), costly chandeliers and home appliances, fans/ lights/doors with sensors and 13 ACs have been found in the house. Moreover, expensive carpets and documents of many firms and properties were also found.
