Agra’s brave cops felicitated amid thunderous applause

Agra: The Police Bravery Award programme was organised by Bharat24 News Channel and First India on Wednesday at Hotel Holiday-Inn, Sanjay Place in Agra city. Dr Jagdeesh Chandra, CEO and Editor-inChief, Bharat24-Vision of New India and First India Newspaper was the Chief guest of the programme. ADG Zone Agra IPS Rajeev Krishna and Police Commissioner Agra IPS Dr Preetinder Singh were also present as the chief guests. Dr Jagdeesh Chandra honoured IPS Rajeev Krishna and IPS Dr Preetinder Singh with the Police Bravery Shield Award. Around 90 police personnel from 7 districts and Agra Commissionerate, who did excellent work were presented with the Police Bravery Award by Dr Jagdeesh Chandra, IPS Rajeev Krishna, and Dr Preetinder Singh. Johnny Dog and the policemen of the Dog Squad, who made many revelations, were also honoured with the award. Dr Chandra addressed all the policemen and all the guests in the event amid thunderous applause. The police officers and policemen felt proud while receiving the awards. The entire programme was presided over by Consulting Editor Shishir Awasthi. Before the start of the programme, the chief guests were felicitated by Shishir Awasthi by presenting them with books. During the event, Uttar Pradesh Bureau Chief Avinash Vidhyarti, Marketing Head Dawood Ahmed Siddiqui, Agra Bureau Chief Shubham Dubey, and their reporting team were present.
