CONG WON’T BE BENEFITTED FROM THIS YATRA: RATHORE
Jaipur: Taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, Dy LoP Rajendra Rathore on Tuesday invited Gandhi to also visit Churu, Rathore’s constituency, so that roads are repaired there and the farmers get fertilizer on time. He said Churu has been neglected for the last 4 years. Targeting the Gehlot government over the expenditure on the Yatra, Rathore asked as to who will give the account of the five-star tents being set up for Rahul Gandhi. “State Congress is doing a show and a drama. Congress is not going to get any benefit from this Yatra,” he told the media on Tuesday. “Roads are being renovated without provision of budget, five-star tents are being set up after destroying the crops of farmers and large grounds are being levelled, food arrangements for thousands of people are being made at different stages. The Chief Minister, who talks about simplicity, should answer the public about the budget of the government being used for all these arrangements,” the Dy LoP Rathore added.
