IAS Association organises farewell ceremony in honour of Deepak Nandi

Jaipur: As IAS officer Deepak Nandi retired, a farewell was organised in his honour by the IAS Association at the Secretariat. A large number of officers participated in the programme and wished Nandi all the best for the future. At the function, the Commissioner of Rajasthan Housing Board Pawan Arora narrated his memoirs saying that he and Nandi were batchmates. “He is a very patient and serious person. Nandi is the real son of soil and his village is Beelwadi in Biratnagar tehsil,” he said. Remembering old times, Arora said that when he was Biratnagar SDO, he went to Nandi’s village and had food at his house. He said that his words have always been an inspiration. Secretary Jitendra Upadhyay, Jogaram, IAS Chetanram Deora, Yagyamitra Singh Dev, Rashmi Sharma, Pushpa Satyani and DoP Joint Secretary Devendra Kumar and other officers were among those present on the occasion.
