Jaipur at 19th in Niti Aayog’s 20-Point Programme target

Jaipur is lagging in meeting the targets set in the 20-point programme. On the basis of the targets sent by the NITI Aayog to the states, Jaipur stands at 19th while Sirohi and Jaisalmer are at bottom 32nd. The ranking is benchmark of development. Aayog had given targets to the state govts from April 2021 to March 2022.

Districts have been ranked by dividing them into 4 categories A, B, C, D. Under this, Alwar, Bhilwara, Churu, Jhunjhunu and Sikar have secured first position by securing 32 marks out of 36. . Bharatpur is at 6th place by achieving 86.11 percent target. Baran and Pali are at 7th place. Ajmer, Dausa, Jodhpur and Tonk are at 9th place with more than 80%. Barmer, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Hanumangarh & Kota stand at 13th for achieving more than 77%. Bikaner is at 18th while Jaipur, Jalore, Karauli, Nagaur & Rajsamandstand at 19th. Sirohi and Jaisalmer stand at 32nd.
