Karan Johar breaks hearts of fans with his latest update on Koffee with Karan

Mumbai (Maharashtra): If you are a Koffee with Karan fan, this news may break your heart. It has been revealed that the ace producer and director will not be returning with a new season of the talk show, contrasting all the claims that were previously made.

It had been reported earlier that Karan Johar will be coming up with a new season of the fan favourite talk show in June with the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, and more to appear. But clarifying these rumours, the talk show host has resorted to Instagram where he posted a note. The actor wrote, “Hello, Koffee with Karan has been a part of my life, and yours, for 6 seasons now I'd like to think we've made an impact and even found our place in pop culture history. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Koffee with Karan will not be returning...”

This news came as a shock to the fans who were eagerly waiting for the next season. Many fans, including stars, expressed their dismay in the comments. Bhumi Pednekar who had appeared in the final season of the show commented a heartbreak. Meanwhile, Prajakta Koli aka mostlysane who is starring in Jug Jugg Jeeyo, a Dharma production movie, commented “NOOOOOO😭”. One fan wrote, “But why?? It was an excellent show” while another said, “No way😢😢😢😢😢 I was excited for the next season 😔😔😔”.
