Karan Johar clarifies he was not biased towards Janhvi in KWK ep2

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Koffee With Karan 7 has just reached its third episode but it has already given a lot of content for gossip and memes. With Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh rocking the first episode of the show, Janhvi and Sara were quite chaotic on the second episode. They not only spilled some very controversial beans but also revealed some insider deets about their love lives and more. But what caught the attention of the viewers was the unabashed biasness of Karan Johar towards Janhvi Kapoor, whom he had launched in his ‘Sairat’ remake, Dhadak.

But during the Mumbai trailer launch of Dharma’s upcoming pan-India film, Liger, Karan was asked about the same which he uprightly denied. The filmmaker claimed that he was not being biased but considerate towards Janhvi as she had lost both the hampers. He believed that his consideration came out as being biased which was not the truth. He further stated that he loves both of them dearly as he has seen them grow into talented young women ever since they were as young as three years old.

While Sara is yet to star in a Dharma movie despite being close to Karan Johar, Janhvi who was launched by KJo was once again star in another Dharma Production, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi alongside Rajkummar Rao. Workwise, both the actresses are currently busy with Sara Ali Khan shooting for her upcoming film ‘Gaslight’ along with Vikrant Massey and Chitrangda Singh. Meanwhile, Janhvi is gearing up for the OTT release of her film ‘Goodluck Jerry’ and has just wrapped up a schedule of ‘Bawaal’ with Varun Dhawan.
