MCD elections like state assembly polls for BJP?

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is contesting the elections of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ie MCD like the election of any State Legislative Assembly. The way leaders from all over the country are campaigning in Gujarat, they are campaigning in Delhi as well. The leaders who are going to Gujarat have also been asked to come to Delhi and campaign. Think, on Sunday the Chief Ministers of four states of the country conducted a road show in Delhi. Baijayant Jai Panda, incharge of BJP in Delhi, had urged these Chief Ministers for road shows. As part of the plan prepared by him, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami did roadshows in Delhi.

Not only this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also participated in this mega campaign of BJP. He also did a road show for the party. A dozen leaders of Bihar have been given the responsibility of campaigning in Delhi. Wherever the population of the people of Purvanchal is more, there the meetings of the leaders of Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh are to be held. The BJP is trying to retain the hold of the last 15 years in the MCD through this big campaign, while the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is also being forced to stay in Delhi and not focus on Gujarat because of the campaigning of other senior leaders of the BJP. Along with this campaign, BJP is also releasing sting videos of Aam Aadmi Party leaders. BJP has also released videos ranging from ticket selling incident to AAP’s MLA being beaten up by supporters and the recent video of jailed AAP minister getting massage and five-star treatment in jail.
