Nadda lays 'facts' bare for Raj leaders

New Delhi: On Tuesday, a meeting was held at the residence of National President JP Nadda in Delhi regarding organisational issues before the Rajasthan BJP. The meeting was attended by former CM Vasundhara Raje, BJP state chief Satish Poonia, State in-charge Arun Singh, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Arjun Meghwal, Chandrashekhar, Leader of Opposition Gulabchand Kataria and Deputy LoP Rajendra Rathore.

During this, Nadda chaired a meeting of state BJP leaders for almost four hours. Highly placed sources in the saffron party have revealed that Nadda has advice to state BJP leaders to maintain mutual coordination. The upcoming organizational programs were the focus in the meeting while a strategy was also made to surround the state government.

Meanwhile, the national president has given a target for other main campaigns including Panna Pramukh wherein both Nadda and BL Santosh stressed that regular feedback comes to the high command about the party's work and leaders as well. All the leaders present in the meeting have been given advice to stay united and work hard in party's interest. "Unity is not only for posterity, but you have to actually be united. PM Modi's face and Modi's policies will lead to BJP winning in Rajasthan," Nadda told leaders.

According to political observers, it would not be wrong to say that Nadda engaged in 'light scolding' and expressed his resentment to the leaders in his 'class'. His resentment was based on senior leader BL Santosh's feedback about Rajasthan. Word is that the party president was furious over inability of the leaders to stay united and raise issues against the Gehlot government and thus the resentment was conveyed to all those present. In fact, party's 'relevant circles' reveal that all those present were given a suitable 'dressing down' and no single person came out with 'flying colours' from the meet. Interestingly, one political message of this meeting is that BJP is taking Gehlot's popularity and power with utmost seriousness.
