PM’S DIVINE FRIYAY AT 11,000 FEET

Dehradun: PM Narendra Modi offered prayers at the famous Kedarnath and Badrinath temples in Uttarakhand on Friday. He reached Kedarnath early in the morning and was received by Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh and CM Pushkar Singh Dhami. He performed the “puja” prayed for strength to PM to take the country forward. During his twoday tour of the state, Modi will inspect various ongoing development projects and lay the foundation stones for some new ones. At Kedarnath, he laid foundation for 9.7-km Gaurikund-Kedarnath ropeway project and Govindghat to Hemkund Sahib ropeway at cost of Rs 2,430 crore. Using the ropeway, devotees will be able to reach temple from Gaurikund in 30 minutes. Modi also visited Samadhi Sthal of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. At Badrinath, he reviewed progress of the works.
