Raje: Women lack opportunities to grow even today

Sirohi: Former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje while addressing a function organised on the 57th Memorial Day of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya’s first chief administrator Jagdamba Saraswati in Sirohi said that even though we talk about women empowerment today, the truth is that women have to strive hard to come forward.

“You have to fight on the move. Sometimes you have to suffer humiliation. We have to be strong for this. You have to change yourself,” she said. She added, “when we change ourselves, it affects the entire society. Brahma Kumari Sansthan gave due respect to women at a time when women couldn’t leave their homes. There is a need for all of us to spread positive thinking together.” Women even today are not getting enough opportunities to grow despite having equal status in society, former CM Raje said. “Even today, the difficulties faced by women for taking a lead while at work are not hidden from anyone,” Raje said.
