Revised transfer policy for the Grade 3 teachers sent to DoP
Jaipur: Grade 3 teachers awaiting transfer in Rajasthan may get some relief as the transfer policy has been amended by the Education Department and sent to the Department of Personnel. After getting approval from DoP, the transfer will be done. Last year, a new transfer policy was prepared by the education department but the DoP returned it for amendment. After this, the department sent a revised policy to the DoP.
On December 30, in a feedback meeting held by Congress state incharge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa with the CM and ministers, a consensus was reached on the transfer of teachers.
But even after over three months, teachers have not been transferred. Giriraj Sharma, State President of Rajasthan Teachers Union, said that it has been more than 10 years and teachers across the state are waiting for transfer.
