Shehnaaz Gill on being trolled after Sidharth’s death: log bolenge sympathy gain kar rahi hai

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla were amongst those rare couples that have everyone cheering them on. But the sudden demise of Sidharth due to a heart attack shocked the entire nation. While everyone saw Shehnaaz grieve on the day of his death, the actress completely shut herself out for almost a year. It is now that she can be seen laughing and smiling and doing more work than ever. But before she began working again, Shehnaaz paid homage to her love with her song ‘Tu Yahaan Hai’. However, not many were impressed with it and the actress faced huge backlash over the song. Opening up about her grief and people’s scrutiny, the Bigg Boss 13 contestant revealed that she does not pay attention to it.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress said, “Duniya ke aage roge to log bolenge sympathy gain kar rahi hai. People would consider you weak and I never want to come across as one. However, I have never tried to hide my emotions. I dealt with it myself and I am fine with it absolutely.”

She further added, “I feel very strong today. Also, I think whatever happened has prepared me for everything. I have a belief that whatever will happen will be for the good for now.”

Talking about the trolls who claimed she monetarily benefitted from Sidharth’s death, Shenaaz said, “They don’t know anything so why should I feel bad? Honestly, I was set to resume work again, and before that, I wanted to do something for the person I respect the most. This was for me and my emotions before I get back to work. It’s okay what they feel as I wanted to do it from my heart.”

Shehnaaz Gill is rumoured to be making her Bollywood debut with Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali although no confirmation has been made on the same. However, she has been spotted with the cast on occasions and fans are now eagerly waiting to see her on the big screen any time soon.
