SHOCKING! Jacqueline Fernandez likely to get arrested after being named accused in Rs 215 crore money laundering case

Mumbai (Maharashtra): 2022 is not the year of Jacqueline Fernandez as the actress keeps on stumbling deep in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar money laundering case. She has constantly been in the news for all the wrong reasons and does not seem to get a break from all the media scrutiny. Now, according to the latest reports, Jacqueline has been named as an accused in the Rs 215 crore money laundering case and a chargesheet may be filed against her soon.

The ED stated that they found the Murder 2 actress “beneficiary of the proceeds of the extorted money” and even declared that they believe the actress was aware that Sukesh was an extortionist and a criminal. But reports further revealed that information on whether the actress will be arrested for the same or not has not been revealed.

The actress was found to have received lavish gifts from the conman despite being aware of the fact that he was a criminal and an extortionist. Jacqueline received gifts worth Rs 10 crore in the time period that they were in contact. Amongst her many gifts include three designer bags from Gucci, Chanel, two Gucci outfits for gym wear, a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes, two pairs of diamond earrings and a bracelet of multi-coloured stones, and two Hermes bracelets, a Mini Cooper car among many others.

As per the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, Fernandez had also possessed assets in excess of Rs 7 crore. The ED also stated that she was in constant contact with Sukesh from February last year to his arrest in August. Jacqueline’s representative had stated that the actress was unaware of his criminal activities and that he introduced himself as an owner of a TV network and a jeweller.
