Two kidnappers held as CP Anand Srivastava steps in

Jaipur/Kota: Following the intervention of Jaipur Commissioner Anand Srivastava, two kidnappers were nabbed in a running train in Kota on Friday night. Police informed the accused, identified as Yogendra Prajapati and his wife Rita Prajapati, both residents of Kalmana dist of Nagpur, had kidnapped an eight-month infant on November 10 from the neighbourhood.

“The police had taken infant boy into its custody, but the couple managed to flee from the spot during the police action. Based on a specific input, Jaipur Police Commissioner Anand Srivastava called Kota (City) SP Kesar Singh Shekhawat on Friday night and informed him about kidnappers,” police said. “Aaccused had boarded a train from Bhopal to Jodhpur,” police added.
