New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi said JJM is a major development parameter of a State to provide water to every household. Addressing the 1st All India Annual State Ministers’ Conference on Water via video message on Thursday, PM said in our constitutional system, water comes under control of States and their efforts for water conservation will go a long way in achieving the collective goals of the country.

Modi called for coordinated efforts by Ministries of Environment & Water and said by making Namami Gange Mission a template, other states can also start similar campaigns for conservation of rivers.
