Were Lalit Modi and Sushmita Sen seeing each other while she dated Rohman Shawl?

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Lalit Modi stirred quite some storm in Bollywood after he made his relationship with actress Sushmita Sen public yesterday. After the announcement, some old Twitter exchanges of the duo went dating back to 2013 viral on the internet, where they are seen seemingly flirting with each other. This raised the question of whether Sushmita was seeing Lalit even while dating model/actor Rohman Shawl.

According to a report by ETimes, these rumours are false and their relationship is a recent development. It should be noted that Lalit Modi’s wife, Minal Modi was alive till 2018 and they were in a happy and committed marriage. Sushmita also had an array of relationships since 2013 with Rohman being her last boyfriend.

Lalit Modi posted a series of photos on his Instagram with Sushmita Sen and announced their relationship to the world. He wrote, “Just back in london after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families - not to mention my #better looking partner @sushmitasen47 - a new beginning a new life finally.
