WHAT ARE BSP LEADERS WORRIED ABOUT?

Patna: As the Lok Sabha elections are coming closer, the restlessness of the Bahujan Samaj Party leaders is increasing. They do not understand what their party will do and what they should do.

In fact, the problems of BSP leaders, especially the MPs of the party, have increased since the time of assembly election results.

The party became completely inactive in the assembly elections.
As a result, the party lost all but one seat it had won earlier. BSP won 17 MLAs in 2017 but in 2022, only one of its candidates won.

That’s why the MPs are worried that if the BSP and its leader Mayawati remain inactive in the Lok Sabha as well, then what will happen to them?

They fear that in a direct fight between the BJP and the SP alliance, the BSP will be wiped out in the Lok Sabha as well as in the Vidhansabha.

That’s why it is being told that BSP MPs are running from pillar to post and half of the 10 MPs of the party are preparing to change the party.

It is being told that they are feeling that they cannot win by staying with the BSP.
That’s why they are looking towards BJP or Samajwadi Party. Recently, BSP MP from Ambedkar Nagar Ritesh Pandey had met Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav.

He was earlier the leader of BSP in the Lok Sabha but a few days back Mayawati removed him from the post of leader. It is being said that he may join the Samajwadi Party.

His father Rakesh Pandey has already joined Samajwadi Party. Many MPs of BSP are anxious to save the Lok Sabha seat.
