‘World Book of Records’ recognises footfall of 6.10 lakh people at Chaupati!

Jaipur: Rajasthan Housing Board Commissioner Pawan Arora informed on Tuesday that RHB has achieved another splendid honour in its line of records. The World Book of Records has recognised the entry (footfall) of 6, 10, 670 people, in the first 5 months during November, 2021 to March 2022 in Mansarovar and Pratap Nagar Chaupatis developed by the Board, as an international record. In a high-profile program organized by the World Book of Records at Indore’s fivestar hotel, Dr Kiran Bedi, former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, and Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a member of the erstwhile Royal family of Udaipur, presented this award to the Board. On behalf of the Rajasthan Housing Board, Deputy Housing Commissioner (HQ) Vijay Agarwal received the certificate and the award.

On this unique achievement, RHB Commissioner Pawan Arora has congratulated the team of the Board, who developed & now operates both the Chaupatis, the shopkeepers of the Chaupatis and the artists, who give live band performance etc. He said that due to the collective efforts of all, Mansarovar and Pratap Nagar Chaupatis have become the ‘Centre of attraction’ not only for the residents of Jaipur but also for lakhs of domestic and foreign tourists visiting the city. Representatives of countries including Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Nepal and other countries including World Book of Records President and CEO Santosh Shukla and Head of Europe Wilhelm Zejler were also present at this ceremony. It is noteworthy that earlier in the year 2020, under the ‘Wednesday Auction Festival,’ the sale of 1,213 properties worth Rs 185 crore in just 12 days and the achievement of selling 1,010 houses in just 35 working days in the year 2019 was also recorded by the World Book Aishwary Pradhan of Records, London.
