Yogi government transfers 8 IAS officers including 4 collectors

Lucknow: Shortly before the presentation of the state budget in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has transferred 8 IAS officers including the collector of 4 districts.

2014 batch officer Nikhil Tikaram Funde, Municipal Commissioner Agra, has been made the new District Magistrate of Chandauli while Avinash Singh, Municipal Commissioner Gorakhpur, will be the new District Magistrate of Ambedkar Nagar.

Sandeep Kumar, Chief Executive Officer Bhadohi Industrial Development, is the New DM of Sant Kabir Nagar. Similarly, Prerna Sharma has been transferred to Hapur as District Magistrate from ACEO Greater Noida.

Prem Ranjan Singh, who was DM Santa kabir Nagar, has been transferred to Bhadohi Industrial Development Authority as the Chief Executive Officer. Isha Duhan, district officer Chandauli, has been made the additional commissioner of Meerut division. Samuel Paul N, DM Ambedkar Nagar, has been made MD KESCo Kanpur whereas Medha Roopam, DM Hapur, has been made ACEO Greater Noida.

While the Uttar Pradesh government was presenting its budget on the one hand, the transfer of four DMs surprised many. However, experts say that one collector’s term had been completed, while there were complaints of two collectors and one collector was seeking maternity leave.
