Youth should become harbingers of change: Birla
Ajmer: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, during the seventh convocation of Rajasthan Central University Ajmer, said that the youths are the biggest heroes of country’s economic & social change. He congratulated the students for their gold medals and degrees. Birla said that it is very important for the society and the country to get the benefit of the character building by acquiring education. He said that the youth is working towards making India self-reliant. “Besides studying the challenges and problems of the country, efforts should also be made to solve them. Today, the youth is thinking differently and education is not limited to getting a job,” he said.
Birla also asked the youth not to run away from politics. “India is the largest democratic country in the world and for an accountable governance and transparent administration, it is necessary that the youth participate,” he said.He also urged them to be the harbingers of change. Birla was welcomed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, including MP Bhagirath Chaudhary, MLAs Vasudev Devnani, Anita Bhadel, Suresh Singh Rawat and Ramswaroop Lamba.
