34th HANDBALL FEDERATION CUP: Raj women team wins

Jaipur: Hosts Rajasthan women displayed a well-coordinated game and brilliant strategy to win the 34th Federation Cup Handball Championship by defeating Haryana 23-22 in the title match. For the first time, women from Rajasthan have won a medal in the Federation Cup. The men from Rajasthan finished third jointly with Punjab. The men’s title was won by Indian Railways by defeating Services by 35-25 (17-11). Rajasthan State Handball Association Prez Harish Dhandev and Honorary Secy YP Singh, said that it is a proud moment for the state.
