ACB nabs Junior asst. & VDO for taking bribe

Jaipur: Acting on the instructions of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) headquarter, Jaipur First Unit arrested Anil Kumar Saxena, Junior Assistant Regulation Branch, Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Surajpole in the city. Additional Director General of ACB Hemant Priyadarshi (Additional Charge Director General) told that ACB Jaipur First Unit received a grievance from a complainant that Anil Kumar Saxena, Junior Assistant Regulatory Branch, Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Surajpole is harassing the complainant by demanding a bribe amount of Rs 5,000 in lieu of issuing the renewed market license.

In a separate incident, the ACB on Wednesday arrested a village development officer (VDO) in Chittorgarh while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000. Police informed that VDO Rahul Meena, posted in gram panchayat Chaukda of Chittorgarh district, was held while taking the bribe.
